Adapted from When the Grading Gets Tough
For classes in which I employ student graders to handle a large number of problem sets, I set up a Google spreadsheet in which they can enter the grades.
I, of course, do not allow them to see participation or exam grades, but such sharing of information allows me to quickly check on the status of the grading, adjust incorrect scores on my own, and allow for both fewer data entry mistakes and unnecessary communication with the grader. I then upload to Moodle so that students can view their own grades privately. It is just an easy way to keep grades up to date without much work on my end. This is a small, but helpful way to reduce my workload.
